
A frenzy look for a frenzy art auction
Each year, the Southern Alberta Art Gallery (SAAG) hosts an art auction to sustain its operations and fund future exhibitions. Although the event consistently drew a strong audience, it lacked a cohesive brand identity and a compelling narrative to fully engage attendees.
That’s when DDB Canada invited me to collaborate, bringing my illustrations into a bold new visual direction, one that felt frenetic, intense, restless, and fun. To capture the auction’s atmosphere, I created illustrations portraying the lively competition between bidders.
